VibeVideo Privacy Policy
VibeVideo (com.saver.videoeditor) trims videos, cuts parts out of
them and reworks their sound. This policy explains what the app accesses and what it does not.
Information we collect
None. VibeVideo does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers. Everything happens locally on your device.
That is a statement about the app. This page is part of the yh-mobile.com website, which does use Google Analytics; that is covered separately by the website privacy policy. Nothing measured on the website comes from the app.
No internet access
VibeVideo does not declare the INTERNET permission, so it cannot send data anywhere
even in principle. Your videos, your music and the edits you make never leave your phone.
No permissions at all
VibeVideo requests no Android permissions whatsoever, including no access to your photos and videos. You choose a video through Android's own system picker, and a music file through the system document picker. The app receives only the one file you picked, and nothing else in your library is visible to it.
Editing and saving
Your original video is never modified. Edits are rendered into a new file, which the app writes to your gallery under Movies/VibeVideo. From Android 10 onwards an app may add its own entries to the gallery without a storage permission, which is how VibeVideo saves without asking for one.
While a video is being made it is written to the app's private cache. That working copy is deleted when the next export starts, and the whole cache is removed if you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
Sharing
If you tap Share, Android shows you the list of apps on your phone and hands your finished video only to the one you choose. VibeVideo has no part in what that app does next, and shares nothing on its own.
Data stored on your device
The app remembers your theme choice, your export quality setting and whether you have seen the introduction. These are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. Uninstalling VibeVideo removes them. Nothing is backed up to us, because there is no server to back it up to.
Links out of the app
The settings screen has a link to rate the app, which opens VibeVideo's page in Google Play. Google Play is Google's service and its own privacy policy applies once you are there.
Children
VibeVideo is a general purpose utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
