Cleanji — Privacy Policy
Cleanji (com.saver.cleanup) frees up storage by finding old photos
and videos with rules you set once, and letting you clean them out. This policy explains what
the app accesses and what it does not.
Information we collect
None. Cleanji does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers. Everything happens locally on your device.
That is a statement about the app. This page is part of the yh-mobile.com website, which does use Google Analytics; that is covered separately by the website privacy policy. Nothing measured on the website comes from the app.
No internet access
Cleanji does not declare the INTERNET permission, so it cannot send data anywhere
even in principle. Your photos, your videos and the rules you create never leave your phone.
Media access
Cleanji requests permission to read your photos and videos (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and
READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, or storage read on older Android versions). It uses that access
only on your device, to list your media folders and read each file's size and
date so it can work out what your rules match. It does not request "All files access", so your
documents, downloads and chat backups are outside what the app can see.
Deleting files
Cleanji never deletes anything on its own. Files are removed only after you tap Clean and confirm through Android's own system dialog. Cleaned files are moved to your device's Trash, where they remain recoverable for 30 days.
Data stored on your device
The rules you create, your theme choice and a running total of how much space you have freed are saved in the app's private storage on your phone. Uninstalling Cleanji removes them. Nothing is backed up to us, because there is no server to back it up to.
Children
Cleanji is a general purpose utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date at the top.
